Success Story
Growing up as a young boy in Africa, Kevin Miller saw firsthand the impacts of poverty and the needs of the people around him. In 2020, he was excited to sign up for the Tearfund RISE UP! Challenge to raise money for those in the global south who were struggling from the effects of COVID-19.
After the experience, Kevin shared, “Taking on the challenge of a virtual climb of Mt Kilimanjaro was a great opportunity to get some exercise and raise money for the amazing work that Tearfund accomplishes around the world.”
Throughout his climb, Kevin raised not just one hundred dollars… but over six hundred! Thank you, Kevin, for serving your neighbours and fulfilling Jesus’ mandate to bring hope to the hopeless.
