After losing her Father and Mother, Mercy left her own dreams of becoming a teacher to take on the responsibility of caring for her younger siblings and cousins. 

In the face of overwhelming challenges, one local church stepped in – empowered and equipped by Tearfund’s Church-based Transformation training. With the church’s help, Mercy restarted her mother’s grocery business and looks towards the future with hope.
