Safeguarding Policy

Tearfund Canada takes the safety of our beneficiaries, staff, and affiliates seriously and maintains a rigorous safeguarding policy. Our safeguarding policies are decided to enhance our accountability. We are committed to loving like Jesus and holding ourselves to a higher standard. Any form of abuse – physical, verbal, emotional, or sexual – is unacceptable and should be reported immediately to us. 

A witnessed or suspected misconduct or any other concern can be channeled through Tearfund Canada’s complaints and feedback mechanisms. These cases will be immediately dealt with in accordance with Tearfund Canada’s operational standards and procedures.
