What Can I Do if I Don't Have Money to Donate?
We understand that not everyone is in a financial position to donate cash, and that is OK!
There are many other ways you can contribute to the ministry of Tearfund and we are so thankful for your support!
But before we even get there, let us just encourage you that all gifts – no matter how small you think they are – can be used powerfully by God. When we think of stories like the feeding of the 5,000, we are reminded that it is not the size of the gift that makes the difference – it is His great faithfulness! Even a gift of $5 can be huge.
That being said, here are some other ways you can contribute to our ministry besides cash.
1. Join our Prayer Group
The first and biggest thing you can do besides donating cash is pray. We truly believe that God hears our prayers and that prayer makes a difference. We pray as staff, both corporately and individually, and our board prays. We need prayer for the places we work in and for God’s wisdom in decision-making.

2. Tell others about Tearfund
The second thing you can do is to tell others about Tearfund. Share on social media, tell your friends, encourage your pastor to invite us for Tearfund Sunday, or even host your own fundraiser!

3. Consider other ways to give
Third, if you don’t have cash, there may be other ways you could give. Gifts of stock or bonds are a great way to give, and have substantial tax benefits. Although you may not be able to give today, a legacy gift is also a great way to ensure that some of your most important causes continue to have an impact once you’re gone.

4. Volunteer
Lastly, you can volunteer. We have a number of different opportunities available based on your specific skills and current needs. We often need help phoning and thanking people, writing cards, helping with accounting, or even speaking at churches.
