Helping people in crisis
When conflict and disaster arise, the poor are usually the hardest hit: 69% of all people killed by disasters around the world live in poverty.
Without social and public safety nets, people can be left with nothing and have to rebuild their lives from scratch.
On the foundation of faith that God will one day make all things new, we work to follow Jesus’ call and help the most vulnerable affected by the disaster. This includes:
- Rushing aid to meet immediate needs, such as food, water, shelter, sanitation and medical care.
- Carefully designing projects that aid in long-term recovery.
