Yes we do accept cash. You can give in cash to us by mail:Â PO Box 3220, Stn Industrial Park Markham, ON L3R 9Z9
We also accept donations by phone call: 1-800-567-8190 (toll-free)

Please understand that we cannot add money to your Canada Helps fundraising page, so if you give directly to Tearfund Canada, we cannot add that onto your Canada Helps page.
Depending on the size of your donation, they keep 2-4%. This money ensures they continue to operate, allowing people like you to organize the best fundraiser you possibly could!
You can do this, and it will save us the Canada Helps fee! However, it won’t be counted towards your fundraising goal as we cannot add money to your Canada Helps page. Some of the enjoyment of fundraising is seeing your page reach its fundraising goal. Its your choice how you want to run your fundraiser!
Canada Helps
Canada Helps is a platform dedicated to helping charities within Canada find cheap but high quality resources. You can find out more here: https://www.canadahelps.org/en/about-canadahelps/
When you click any sign up button in the fundraising area, it’ll take you to our Do More for Hunger Canada Helps page. On this page, you can sign up as as individual, create a team, or join a team. When you register, you’ll be asked a few questions, including what type of fundraiser you are doing, and then you’ll be given a personal fundraising page where you can share your story and receive donations!

There are many resources available to you once you create a Canada helps page! You’ll have access to a section called ‘tips and tools’ where you’ll find multiple social media packages! These packages include posts, captions, emails, texts, and everything you could need to get the ball rolling with your fundraiser.
Yes! There are team sign ups on the Canada Helps page. You can either create a team, or you can join a team! If you are the team leader you’ll create a team, and if you are members of the team you will join a team and look for your team leaders name on the page that follows.

After registering and creating your Canada helps page, go onto the Canada Helps website and sign in. Then click on your name at the top of the screen, and hit “Donor Account”. When you have done that, one of the options available to you will be “fundraising pages”, after clicking that, you can view or edit your fundraising page. Other Questions
Yes you can! This is a simple was to have a birthday fundraiser! Facebook will automatically prompt you to create a fundraiser on your birthday and you can choose Tearfund Canada. This is not exclusive for birthdays, you can have a Facebook fundraiser any time of the year that you’d like!
Yes – there are many running events you can take part in to raise money for Tearfund Canada. Have a look online for options near you or contact our friendly Community Fundraising team at fundraise@tearfund.ca
After you create a Canada Helps fundraising page, you’ll have access to the tips and tools section on the webpage. In there you’ll find social media packages, and tips for how to run a successful fundraiser!
