Can I trust your charity?
Absolutely! (Although we don’t expect you to take our word for it).
One of the core values—and one of the things that we believe sets us apart—is “maximizing impact.” We are absolutely committed to utilizing the skills and resources that God has given us to achieve effective, quality results. Our programs are designed and implemented to the highest industry standards and always try to create the most impact as possible.
Our work is overseen by a passionate and professional Independent Board of Directors who are all personally dedicated to see an end to poverty in the name of Jesus. They come from all walks of life across the country and possess a variety of God-given skills and abilities. The board meets a minimum of four times a year to ensure that the organization is being managed and run efficiently and effectively. We are also part of several associations and networks to enhance our credibility and effectiveness. We are an accredited member of the Canadian Centre for Christian Charities – a rigorous third-party program that evaluates a charity in 5 areas:

- Ethical Fundraising
- Organizational Integrity
- Diligent Governance
- Financial Oversight and Transparency
We are one of the few relief charities in Canada who are a member of the Core Humanitarian Alliance – the gold standard in relief and development worldwide. In addition to the Humanitarian Alliance, we are part of several networks aimed at enhancing our transparency and professionalism including the Integral Alliance and Tearfund Family.
