Your Questions!

Are your partners qualified to do their work?

We work with many local partners across the globe to implement our life-changing projects and programs through the local church.

We have worked with most of our local partners for years, if not decades.

But are all our partners qualified to help lift people from extreme poverty?

The short answer is yes! Our partners are not only able to deliver the technical pieces of our programming, but they also align with our vision and mission to empower people through the local church. Furthermore, all of our partners are held to high standards of accountability to make sure the technical pieces of projects are running smoothly. They must have a consistent track record of being reliable and transparent.

What makes some of our local partners different from others is their ability to act independently while also being in mutual relationship. All of our partners work with our Canadian staff to set up and deliver life-changing programs such as conservation agriculture, village savings and loans programs, and more. We work together closely to make plans and implement them, forming a two-way, mutual learning process.

We also try to set up cross-learning opportunities between our global partners, so that best practices are shared and local leaders are empowered and strengthened. This reduces the focus of positioning us as the “solution providers” and rather helps our partners develop the capacity to solve their own problems. Our goal is to build local skills and expertise so that people can truly be lifted out of poverty in sustainable ways.
