Tearfund Sunday provides your congregation with an awareness of the desperate need in the world while at the same time offering hope and a chance to respond in a Gospel-centered way.

It provides you an opportunity to partner and equip local churches in the Global South to transform the lives of the poor both physically and spiritually in the name of Jesus.

The way Tearfund helps the poor with local churches is brilliant and right there with what we would hope to happen with a Christian mission.

Tearfund Sunday does a nice job of presenting the need around the world in a way that breaks your heart, but also provides an opportunity as a follower of Christ, to respond in the way that God is calling us to.

We've been participating in Tearfund Sunday for many years. It's been a joy to be able to show the love of Christ and to glorify God by meeting needs around the world. One of the things I appreciate is how we got everything we need well in advance. We were able to watch videos and see the testimonies of people who were being helped and so we're able to know and have confidence that are funds are being well spent.
