“At first, we tried to live in our village, believing everything would end quickly. But after a few weeks of bombing, it was not over so I left. And in June, a missile flew into my house.”
“I still cry every time I think about it. I invested my whole life in that home.”
In the months after, Lyubov didn’t know how to live on. She lost hope. But thanks to donors like you, she has been able to receive a continuous delivery of emergency food as well as hygiene packages through our local partner, Integra.
Donors like you are also funding spiritual and psychological support programs for Lyubov and people like her. The local community in Novoukrainka is involved in the recovery process too. During our visit, the friendly chatting of Lyubov and her companions was occasionally interrupted by children’s laughter.
