You Can Help Plant Trees in Ethiopia To Honour God’s Creation And Help Farmers Survive

Your gift today of just $6 can provide 100 seedlings that will restore the land and provide food for families living in poverty

Farming families in Ethiopia are facing a crisis.

Rainfall has become so unpredictable that their soil is eroding and being washed away.  They’re dealing with unexpected flooding that kills their crop. And because they rely on their land for survival, they’re struggling to feed their children and make a living.

You can help with the simple act of helping plant more trees.

Tearfund is working on the ground, working directly with local churches to help farming families restore their land by planting trees. These trees not only provide essential fruit-bearing crops for families but also combat climate change, reduce soil erosion, and increase biodiversity.

Right now, we’re working with over 10,200 farmers to adopt farming practices that will improve their crop production and help them grow more food to create an income and feed their families.

How You Can Help

As Christians, we are called to be stewards of God’s creation.

Your gift today can provide 100 tree seedlings in Ethiopia, providing a tangible way to care for the earth and support families in need.

For just 6 cents, you can provide seedlings that help restore the land, provide food, and fight the devastating effects of climate change. Which means…

  • $6 provides 100 tree seedlings
  • $60 provides 1,000 tree seedlings
  • $720 funds a small nursery with over 12,000 tree seedlings

Each tree helps reduce soil erosion, provides fruit-bearing crops for food, and combats climate change. This is creation care in action.

Your generosity can help farming families in Ethiopia protect their environment, secure their livelihoods, and honor God’s creation.

And when you give today, we’ll make sure to keep you updated on the seedlings you’ve helped provide.
