Thousands of families have been pushed to the brink - leaving everything behind to flee for their lives.

Lack of food and essential supplies is causing extreme suffering and threatening lives. You can help.
In November 2020, a violent conflict erupted in the Tigray region of Northern Ethiopia, creating a massive humanitarian crisis. More than 1.5 million men, women, and children fled their homes to save their lives. They now reside in small camps around the Northern part of the country and are in need of food, medicine, and other necessities.
They may have escaped the incoming armies, but life in the camp is anything but “safe.” With no food to eat, clean water, or medication, families are struggling to survive. Women and children are most affected.
To make matters worse, in such crowded conditions, families are highly exposed to COVID-19. There is little hope in their hearts.

You can help provide emergency food... and hope.
The impact of the conflict is devastating, but we will not look away. With its church partners, Tearfund is responding to the crisis, providing emergency food to 9,000 people in one of the hardest-hit areas of the crisis. They will be provided with critically needed rations of rice, beans, cooking oil, and salt – enough to keep them fed and alive for the months ahead.
But it doesn’t stop there.
Your donations will be part of a larger response as part of the Tearfund network. Providing essential items such as shelter, cooking equipment, water, and more.
Most importantly, through the Ethiopian church, you will help provide hope for tomorrow. Wherever there is pain, suffering, and poverty, God is already there to pour out his love, comfort, and restoration.
