Devastation in Haiti

On Saturday August 14, Haiti was struck by a massive 7.2-magnitude earthquake. And to make things worse, Tropical Storm Grace dumped heavy rain days later. With so much hurt, we are asking you to stand with the people of Haiti during this devastating time.
The people of Haiti need your help.
As of writing this, there are 2,200 people confirmed dead and 12,000 injured – numbers that are sure to climb. 130,000 families have been left homeless.
Hospitals are overwhelmed in need of supplies. Families are in need of drinking water, food, and shelter.
Our hearts can’t comprehend the devastation. But in these times we know that God is already there, pouring out His mercy and love.
Your Help is Needed
In partnership with World Renew and local churches, you will deliver urgently needed food and supplies to families affected by the earthquake. Your gift will go help the most vulnerable – targeting two underserved rural communities in Grand’Anse; concentrating efforts to where needed most.
Your gift will provide families with food such as rice, beans, oil and salt. They will also receive non-food items such as tarps for shelter, cooking utensils, water, and sanitation supplies. Simultaneously, our team is planning a more robust response that not only helps families immediately, but rebuild over the long-term.
HAITI EARTHQUAKE UPDATE: Thanks to the overwhelming support of generous people and chuches across Canada we have surpassed our fundraising goals on this project and are no longer accepting donations to Haiti for the remainder of 2022. Thank you so much.
That being said, there is a lot of other urgent need in the world and we encourage you to donate on our general page to participate life-changing work in other countries.

God bless!
