Your Impact

COVID Crisis in India

You are having an immediate impact.

Thanks to your fast generosity, we have been able to immediately help people in India suffering from the COVID crisis. Our church partner, EFICOR, is going into the front lines to help those hardest hit – migrant workers, widows, the elderly, and people with disabilities.

On this page you will find regular updates of the impact you are having as we recieve them. You are a part of this response, helping to “shine the light of Christ during this crisis time.”

June 8, 2021 - Update on Food Distribution and Cash-for-Work

Emergency food rations and cash continue to be distributed to those who need it most in Dehli. In rural India, families who lost their jobs because of the pandemic are being provided jobs that will benefit their communities such as water management and irrigation systems to help with flooding and drought. With your support, EFICOR is working with local churches to reach those in most need and share hope and light.

Training on COVID prevention and awareness has already begun. EFICOR has also begun to rally church and community leaders to engage in this response. Soon food will be distributed to those in most need.
