Ongoing conflicts, economic instability, and flooding and droughts have left millions struggling to find their next meal. With 56% of the population facing acute food insecurity, many are resorting to desperate measures to survive. Mothers like Elizabeth are left alone to care for their children, with little hope for the future.

Tearfund is working on the ground, partnering with local resources to deliver vital food aid to families in South Sudan. This assistance not only feeds the hungry but also provides hope and stability, allowing communities to focus on rebuilding their lives.
Right now, we’re working to reach over 7,700 people (1,100 households) with emergency food assistance, starting with the most vulnerable families including those with malnourished children, pregnant women, and households with single parents or led by children.
